Join MVFD

MVFD members come from various backgrounds. We have members who work in the high-tech industry, some are firefighters with other fire departments, etc. One does not have to have any prior knowledge about the fire service in order to be a member. MVFD will provide all the necessary equipment, training, and expertise to ensure that you feel comfortable about being a member.

To become a member of the Manchaca Volunteer Fire Department, an individual should live or work in our response area. We always need volunteers to serve the community. You don’t have to join just to be a firefighter. Our Associate Members fill support roles such as photographers, webmasters, grant writers, etc. To download an application just click here. Please turn your application by November 30th so that the Board of Directors may begin reviewing it.
